Tahara’s beach is getting hot this summer!!

ISA World Surfing Championship will be held in Tahara !!!

Venue: Tahara-shi, Aichi Prefecture

Surfing is becoming more popular as it will become an Olympic sport for the first time in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The world’s greatest surfing competition is coming to Taraha of Atsumi Peninsula this summer.

This is the second championship to take place in Japan and it has been 28 years since 1990 Chiba Championship was held. About 300 surfers from roughly 50 countries will be competing this time.

For the coming Tokyo Olympics, we will show Japan’s waves and Omotenashi spirit to the world already!
