Atsumi Peninsula “Sea Bathing Information”

Sea bathing and surfing – the classic summer leisure activities. This summer, you should head out to the beach with summery blue ocean. Visiting umi no ie (shops on the beach) is also fun! In Atsumi Peninsula, there are four white beaches.

  • Shiroya sea bathing area

    Parking: 600 yen, guards, changing room, restroom, shower: 100 yen/3 minutes, umi no ie, beach volleyball, locker

    Shiroya sea bathing area is the white beach located on Shiroya coast facing Mikawa Bay. Coconut trees stand around the beach so that you can feel the resort atmosphere. The beach is well equipped and family friendly.“You can enjoy picnic and let your kids play in the lawn park near by the beach,”

  • Nisaki sea bathing area

    Parking: 600 yen (weekdays)/800 yen (weekends and holidays), guards, changing room, restroom, hot shower; 100 yen, umi no ie, BBQ

    Nisaki sea bathing area is facing Mikawa Bay, and vivid green pine trees, a white beach and calm waves are seen. This scenic beach has become one of the “Japan’s 88 best sea bathing areas” in 2001. During the on-season, the barbecue area is available so that both young groups and families can have fun.

  • Coconuts Beach Irago

    Parking: 700 yen (weekdays), guards, changing room, restroom, umi no ie, locker, shower: 200 yen/3 minutes, beach volleyball

    This Irago sea bathing area is located on the coast by the Irago Port and filled with tropical atmosphere. It is a popular resort beach with white sand and clear water. In summer, the beach gets decorated with colorful parasols.
